What I've learned (the hard way):

Dan Pronman professes to be a Mopar expert and claims to be the proprietor of a restoration shop located in Montreal, Quebec.

When he and his brother Gary defrauded me of $84,000, they did so, in part, by using their Quebec, Canada-based company Movie Star Musclecars.
 
As his victim, my research taught me:

I'm not the first classic car enthusiast to litigate or near-litigate with the Pronman brothers. Joseph Lange, Bill Ockerlund, Jurgen Stanley and Wade Ogle are a few other car collectors that have had big problems the Pronmans and/or their company Movie Star Muscle Cars. I'm sure there are many more!

During 2009-2010, Dan claimed under oath to be a Canadian resident. Of course, this completely contradicts his own written statements and his Green Card which states he was a permanent US resident since January 17, 2007.

That Dan has no problem committing perjury in a court of law. He lied under oath in his written responses to our interrogatories and then again when deposed in February 2010.

That Dan lied to the Florida universities that his children used to attend so he could get them discounted in-state tuition. i.e. What he told the universities is contrary to what he told us under oath when we deposed him back in 2010.

That Dan has no problem lying to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) because that's exactly what he did when he told them he was living in the USA since obtaining his green card in January 2007. The truth is that he continued to live in his Montreal family home up through mid-2009 -- according to property records and his own testimony in litigation. The home was deeded to his wife, Ronabeth.

That Dan has no problem falsifying his US Tax returns. The evidence from this case's discovery has shown that he has never declared any of his foreign interests, income or losses.

That Dan was already well known amongst Mopar enthusiasts as being "efficient with a sledge hammer and a stamping kit;"

Dan is actually the Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director and 50% shareholder of Movie Star Musclecars. The other shareholder is his brother Gary Pronman, and the dormant company is still registered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (though it currently has no bank accounts and uses a UPS Store as a mailing address);

His dormant company, Movie Star Musclecars operates out of Florida, transacts business within the state of Florida, and sells automobiles to Florida residents. Unfortunately, the company has failed to obtain a dealer's license from the Florida DMV, has never obtained the proper city and county occupational licenses, has not filed a fictitious name (d/b/a), never incorporated in the state of Florida and never registered as a foreign entity. Not only is the illegal, but it also contradicts the information found on their website and business card specifically listing Coral Springs as an office address;

Quebec, Canada is apparently the fraud capitol of North America. In fact, when I filed a report with the Montreal police, they told me it would be approximately 10-12 months just to have it reviewed by an investigator because they were so backlogged with other fraud cases; It actually took over two years before I heard back from their fraud investigator.

The Pronmans have carefully crafted their little scam; they live in Florida, operate their business out of Florida, though it is incorporated in Quebec, fabricate bogus invoices to offset your purchase and then try to prevent your case from ever getting its fair day in court by using jurisdiction, venue, international treaty law and frivolous counter-suits as their arguments to delay the case inevitably;

That Dan appears to own just half of one asset -- a retirement condo that he inherited from his late father. All real estate, including the last two houses he lived in, were conveniently deeded solely in the name of his wife, Ronabeth (Zand) Pronman. I'm guessing that this may be due to what appear to be numerous judgments against him, including a bankruptcy, in Quebec. Recorded documents in Borward County show what appears to be a fraudulent and backdated 'mortgage' between Morris Zand and Ronabeth on their last family home;

That Dan can lose control enough to strike a woman. He did just that on January 21, 2010 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ. Dan was upset about my T-shirt (which brought attention to their scam) and when my girlfriend Samantha took his picture with her camera-phone, he lost control and physically struck her wrist in an apparent attempt to knock the phone out of her hand.

Dan is now attempting to earn a living as real estate sales associate at Preferred Property Finder, a company originally formed by his brother-in-law Bryan Zand, and now operated by his father-in-law, Morris Zand.  

Sadly, neither Samantha nor I are Dan Pronman's only victims;
